Asymmetry is a good thing to be exploited when it comes to movement.
Asymmetry is how paired teams work to attain optimum performance. There is no need to correct asymmetry by making movement symmetrical.
The attached picture is a good example of asymmetry.
You see the difference in flexion between the right and left knee? Now ask why? Instead of jumping to a weakness or imbalance issue that needs to be corrected or fixed.
